I actually have an old version of this bag in orange. I have had it for so long, I can't even remember when I got it. I love the bag, so ordered this time in a more neutral color. I still love the bag. If I have one suggestion, it would be that I would love to have more pockets within the sections of the bag - like the travel messenger bag has (I own 2 of them, and love them also).
This is a great handbag, well made with good inside pockets. I am traveling to New York City and wanted something a bit dressier. For more country trip this bag would be exactly perfect!
I bought this bag in cocoa brown color, which seems lighter than the hue seen on-line. Overall, this bag is a good buy. The shoulder strap provides a lot of room for adjustments, which allows for wearing the purse cross-body. The purse is well sewn, including inside pockets. L.L.Bean impresses me with their good quality products, so I am happy with this purchase.

I have been using this bag for 5+years and I love it. It's a good bag. If there is a problem it's that you can stuff so much in it that it can get heavy and require a paring down of what you carry. Love the bag though.
