There are so many things about this bag that I love. The material, the color, the quality were all great. But, if the bag is not expanded to it's full width, the flap doesn't lay flat over the closure. It sticks up leaving 2-3 inches of space between the flap and the top of the purse. I tried letting the flap lay over the purse without locking it, but it just didn't look right. It hung past the bottom of the purse. If you need an overnight bag or you pack a full purse, this will work for you. I wanted to keep it, but I knew the flap would drive me crazy, so I returned it for another LLBean purse.
Not really what I expected but it will do nicely. I wanted a bag for travel large enough to get my necessities in. I like my Kindle, my ID and various other items close at hand. This bag is big enough to accomodate that. It also can be worn cross body. That is helpful becuse I require a cane when walking and the bag stays in place. Goes well with the casual clothes I wear while traveling.

Used this purse everyday all year long. When it wore out after mutiple months of use I ordered a replacement. Love the size, the different compartments, and the sturdy shoulder strap. Very durable. I have even machine washed mine and it came out like new!
I agree with the many other reviews that this bag is a great! It's the perfect size for me to carry what I need and be able to find it quickly, like my phone when it's ringing and not root around forever. The crossover strap is not too long or too short, the green color is a great neutral. Very happy with purchase.
