I like the looks and feel of this bag, and I have an idea that it is going to last forever. However, it kind of feels too big to be small, yet not big enough to, say, comfortably hold a book - that is, it's too small to be big. In other words, the size is kind of awkward. I'll keep it even so, since I like it more than I don't.
This bag is the perfect size for me and has the functionality that I need- hence, 4 stars. I purchased the olive color and it's not nearly as dark as the online picture indicates. It is truly a dusty olive/pine color. What I didn't like about this bag is the leather color and the floppy canvas. The leather is not rich in tone like the web photo and is instead a very light/nude color. In my opinion, the light leather cheapens this bag. I almost returned the bag for this reason alone. But, I had some brown leather dye and I used it very easily to darken the leather and it looks awesome now and even the olive color looks less drab now. I wouldn't exactly say that this bag is worth full price. If the leather were darker and the canvas were a bit stiffer and stronger, I'd be more willing to pay the full price.
I really love this bag. It has so much room in it. It goes with everything casual. It sits very comfortabley on my shoulder. Thanks for a great product!
I read other reviews before I purchased this bag in olive. The color is a faded shade--so it looks like a well-worn army fatigue. I wanted something casual that I wouldn't have to worry about tossing on the floor of my car, and this works great for that. We travel a lot too, so I like that it fits as a cross body (I'm average sized--Medium/Size 10.)
