This is one of the best bags that I have ever owned, it is lightweight, roomy, has an outside compartment, one under the flap and one inside the bag. I am able to carry everything necessary in the bag and it matches my Messenger Bag that I purchased from L.L.Bean. I am thrilled with them both.
I absolutely love this bag!! It is the perfect size, and it's extremely durable. It has the right amount of pockets and the clasp is both easy to use but also strong enough to prevent anything from falling out. I use this bag everyday and it is one of my favorite items that I've bought from LL Bean. Definitely recommending it!
I actually have the canvas tote from LL Bean that was a "sister" to this bag. I loved my tote and used it all the time and wore it to shreds (not that it was poorly made - my husband is a long haul trucker and I never should have brought it with me). Went on line to buy another and apparently it's no longer available (at least I don't see it on line anymore). So I bought the next best thing. - this bag This has actually worked out better for me since the bag has a large, inside compartment, a smaller inside compartment and another small compartment on the outside. Since I have to shelp work papers/books around, I use the large compartment for this and the other two smaller compartments for my stuff. I really like the bag more than I thought I would.
