ProsDurable, Performing as Expected, practical, spacious, stylish
I am very rough on my pocketbooks and need a sturdy one. This is my 2nd LL Bean shoulder bag. This particular bag is well constructed, and you can tell it's "tough". The strap fits comfortably across your shoulder and chest, and it holds a lot of items. What I also like about it's construction is the main compartment which is roomy and "square" i.e. sack like bags tend to let everything fall to the bottom and you're always "fishing" for things. This bag allows your wallet, sun glasses, makeup case, etc. to stay in place even though there are no divider pockets. It also has a key leash in the front zipped pocket so there is no looking for your keys in the dark. It not only has to inside zippered pouches but a buckled flap for extra security. The leather trim makes it look smart and "weathered" in a stylish way. You may spend a little more on Bean, but the quality is ALWAYS worth it. I am certain I will use this bag for a long time!
Bought this early July 2011 and I must say I love it. The pocketbook is durable, with a large middle pouch which holds my phone charger, larger sunglasses case along with my regular eyeglass case. I place my wallet in the inside zippered pouch. The outer zippered pouch (under the flap) holds an extra set of keys for all the household cars along with pens and gum. I don't always latch the buckle, but I keep all pouches zippered. I had it monogrammed with my first initial script M and I must say it adds a touch of class. I have received many compliments and two friends have checked the website to buy the similar pocketbook. I like this so much I may buy another for Xmas in a different color!
