I wanted a light colored, casual bag for summer and this bag fits the bill. I ordered the Dune color. It looks great with casual summer wear and is made of soft yet sturdy canvas. My only style recommendation, which I saw mentioned by another customer, is to have the smaller pockets for a cell phone, pens, etc. Not a complaint but the bag is roomy than I expected and I checked the measurements to compare to other bags that I oiwn. It can easily fit s book or small notepad along with your other items.
This bag is very nearly everything we had hoped it would be. It is durable, nicely styled, and is a good size. Unfortunately the buckle broke within a few weeks of owning the bag because one of the straps that is part of the buckle assembly is only about 1/4in wide and is unable to support the strain of normal use. We returned the item and a second bag broke exactly the same way in a similarly short amount of time. A bag that cannot close is not of use to us.
With a redesign of this area this would be an excellent bag, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it as long as this design flaw exists.
This bag is good looking and functional. I do find it is heavy to use and it's necessary to be careful about how much I put in it. The wide strap would be good for a tall person but I am short so for me it is a lot of strap. I do like the general casual look and I am sure it would last forever through a lot of hard use.
I only have one complaint about this bag. I wish the strap were a bit more adjustable so that it could easily be worn across the body. The strap is only adjustable at the buckle and I assumed it would also be adjustable on the canvas part. For a taller person, it is just not quite long enough for across the body. Overall, this is a nice bag, sturdy construction and very roomy. Its size makes it great for travel.
