For security reasons, I like a bag that zips but also has a flap that covers the zipper. This bag is perfect! One zipper pocket inside for valuables, but the main compartment is large enough for a fat wallet, my Kindle, sunglasses, make-up case, etc. Lightweight yet sturdy. The wide shoulder strap stays on my shoulder well, and a shoulder problem I've had for months has disappeared now that I'm using this bag. Chocolate is a good neutral color, light enough for spring/summer but won't show the dirt too much. Would love this in black!
i did have trouble with the front latch keeping the purse closed but i have a new one now and no problems with this one,very well made.First monogram was thicker and not so cheap looking can't say that about the replacement monogram

I really liked this bag, shoulder strap is the right length, size is good, having an outside pocket is very convenient, the three pockets on the inside are well sized with two of them having zippers, this makes it easy to keep wallet and keys from falling out or getting lost. I like this bag so well that I will purchase it again if LLBean is still carrying it.
Don't like the buckle for the flap and putting the strap through - takes too much time to get into the purse. I took the buckle off and cut off the strap on the flap. The shoulder strap is too wide and too long. Keeping it because I like the size of the purse and the fabric.
