This bag is very sturdy and well made. It is a little stiff, but looks like it will break in well. It's a little bigger than I thought, but that's not a bad thing. I think it is perfect for my everyday lifestyle. A good bag!
I have been looking for a new bag for quite a while now. Not knowing exactly what I wanted but knew that I would know it when I saw it. I ordered this bag as a Christmas gift for myself, something I have never done before. What a treat! I love the canvas but I especially love the strap. It can be adjusted so the bag can be worn across the shoulder or not. It has several medium and small compartments, but not too many for things to get lost in. I know that this bag will serve me well in my day to day life. Thanks so much for a great gift!
I love the look of the purse. The canvas is durable and appears to wear well as does the leather. I used painter's tape to cover the leather and scotch-guarded the canvas. After that dried, I covered the canvas and used Dr. Martin's Wonder Balm on the leather. This changed the color of the leather some, but gave it a nice sheen and is now resistant to scuffs and water.
The outside pocket is convenient. I like the two zipper pockets under the flap; one with the key fob and the other with an inside zippered side pocket. The tabs on the zippers are well shaped and easy to find and grasp. The outside flap has a metal tab closure or belted closure option. The shoulder strap is wide and adjustable by almost six inches and is easily worn across the body.
This purse is very roomy. I can carry books and a coffee cup in the inner pocket.
The only negative is that the bag looks a bit sloppy when not almost full.
I was worried it would be too small...but it's perfect. I wanted something easy to free up my hands to carry everything else...including my 2 year old... This totally fits the bill...roomy enough to hold my larger wallet with everything the practical mom needs... highly recommended...:)
