I am very happy with my bag. It carries all the things I need without being a pain to carry. I have used all kind of bags but this one is the best I have used. I have room for my iPad, my iPhone, keys, wallet, meds as well as a thinline Bible or book. It does all the things I wanted it to do and I love how stiff it is. One thing I do agree with other reviews about the clasp in the front. It is the weak point of the whole bag and I hope I do not have to return it because it has broken. It just feels really weak and loose. But I still love the bag.
I've had this bad a year now. I'm 49 and back to school. This bag carries all of my essentials, lipstick, billfold,etc. It also carries my computer and books. Being able to hook it over my head and carry it saves my back. It hasn't shown any wear yet and I am NOT gentle with it. It's a great purchase.
The bag would be wonderful with the exception of the hardwear it is sooo bad. The bag arrived and the small zipper tab came off the first time I pulled it. The slide closer in the front does not hold the bag closed, a light pull on the flat and its open. However the look of the bag is great I have received compliments about the bag. The weight of the fabric and the construction of the balance of the bag is just as I would expect an LLBean product to be.
