I'm purchasing my second one of these. Still using the first one and still love it, but the clasp didn't just break, like I read in one of the reviews, mine came completely off. In all fairness though, I've had it for over a year now. But I do love it enough to purchase another, will do a different color this time though. Only one wish...if LL Bean would offer a leather version in addition to the canvas, like the leather messenger bag...that would be awesome!
Love..love...LOVE this bag...its the 2nd one ive bought...its comfy--fits across my body nicely for hands free shopping...the only improvements id ask for are...1) an outside cell phone holder ( i made my own to attach to the strap) and 2) more interior pockets--i like an organized bag so i stitched up a quilted fabric organizer with pockets...now i can see everything in the bag at a quick glance...i recommend this bag highly..
I really like this bag. The strap is nice and long and adjustable so that I can wear it around my neck if I need to. For me it is just the right size, not too small and not too large to use as a purse. It is great for everyday casual use. My teenage daughter said she wants it if I ever quit using it.
I really like the simplicity of this bag. It doesn't have a lot of frills nor does it have a lot of pockets. It's very classy. I specifically wanted a bag for my netbook and it's perfect. In other bags that are larger my net book swims but in this bag it is very snug, it was that feature that really brought me to select this bag. Though the net book is snug length wise - there is still plenty of room for even another book and all the accessories for the netbook including the mouse. I also really like and prefer the full zippered closings - no allowage for leakage from weather. Not to mention it's really pretty too.
