I bought this bag for summer travel, but I have been using it daily. It has two zippered compartments so I feel my "valuables" are secure. It is bigger (deeper) than I would like however it is soft so it doesn't feel to huge when it isn't full and it still holds a full size hardcover book with all my other "stuff". The shoulder strap is wide,and not too slippery. Overall, I like this bag.
Looks are great, for the "not so frilly" woman with lots to carry. Wish the buckle on the flap was turned over so gravity wouldn't work against it but very minor issue with overall performance.
Just LOVE this bag.Very durable and set up in such a practical way.The adjustable strap is wide and doesn't slide off my shoulder.I don't even have to take it off my shoulder to access every section.I chose the olive color and am very happy I did.I also had my monogram added in the "diamond" style and that looks very smart as well. I plan to have this bag for MANY years. Thanks L.L.Bean for yet another common sense item.
