I purchased this bag for a pending trip abroad because I needed a bag that would hold some personal items and documents. This bag is of high quality and will serve it's intended purpose, I woild definately recommend this item for a replacement of a backpack for ease of access and comfort.

This bag is large enough to hold my laptop computer, knitting project and customary purse items. At the same time, it is not so large that I look like I am carrying luggage. It is perfect for my everyday needs as I commute to work.
Ordered the bag in British khaki. Was very green in comparison to the photo pictured. I called customer service and they immediately offered to send a replacement or a bag in a different color before I left for my trip. The bag arrived in 3 days. I was very impressed with the level of service. My 1st purchase with L.L. Bean and definitely not my last. For the replacement bag, I went with a different color and I was very pleased. The bag is as per description. Great light weight hand carry for the plane.
