I needed a new bag for traveling between Md and Fl.I fly on some of the smaller planes with multiple stops and needed a bag that could carry multi shaped objects and fit in smaller overhead bins.This bag is easy to carry and stow, looks good and is accessable for security checks .The outside pockets a great for water, paperbacks ,glasses, etc.The monagram ads a touch of personal ownership,it seems durable and I'm pleased once again with my purchase from L.L.Bean.
This bag is perfect to keep a portfolio, iPad, and iPod in. I bring it with me to all my meetings. The other pockets are great to place business cards and various things in. I also take this as my carry-on for flights and never have trouble with security. Overall...GREAT BUY!
I bought it to replace a bag, that was free from a convention, that I used to go to and from my off farm job. I have used it for 2 weeks and am finding the strap short enough & comfortable to wear and carry(even for a petitie person). It can carry a lot more than you would think. I agree with those that mention a short handle to grab it with other than the shoulder strap would be nice. I'd also like pen slots in one of the side pockets. I haven't had my 15 1/2" screen computer in it yet and wonder if quick access at TSA might be a problem with the top zipper design not allowing the inside top to fold back enough to retrieve the computer from behind a purse..etc in the bag. Other than those minor things I love the bag. Revise the design and tackle some of those things and I would give it 5 stars!
