I bout this bag roughly a year ago. About five months after using it It started to develop a hole in the side. This hole wasn't from something outside but from my books and laptop from the inside. Through normal use a hole was made and it has now grown to the point where I can no longer zip it up. Also the strap is uncomfortable.
I really like this bag. It will be a great bag for travel. One suggestion though would be magnetic snaps instead of velcro. Would still buy again and suggest to others.
