This bag is great! I love it, it holds my school books, my computer, and what I need for work. However it just barely holds it all. I would've liked for the bag to be a bit bigger, but other than that it's the best bag. I have had a number of ll bean bags in the past, mostly backpacks, and I needed something that would look a little more professional than the backpack I've had for years, and this fits the bill perfectly. I usually bike to work, and was a bit nervous that the bag would slide around as I rode, but it stays in place just fine. Although if you are going to put something heavy in the bag I'd recommend getting something to coushin your shoulder because the strap doesn't have anything there. The closure on the flap takes a minute to figure out but once you've figured it out it's really easy. My dog has even taken a liking to the bag, so it's very durable if it can take his beating. If you need a bag that does pretty much everything, and is durable, I'd get this one!
My wife liked my bag so well, I had to buy her one of her own or I never would have gotten mine back. Rugged but stylish. Only wish it had a pad on the strap.

This bag was everything I hoped it would be for travel abroad: roomy, lots of pockets for storage, sturdy, with a comfortable adjustable strap. I was able to pack not only my Nikon D5000 and lens inside, but all my personal items like my wallet, date keeper, checkbook, etc., as well as my sketch book, pencils, and other art supplies. I still had room for purchases including a couple of t-shirts and other items. Love it!
The Messenger Bag was a gift for my daughter. She likes it very much. However, the lining came apart. A new bag was sent to her and all seems satisfactory.
