This was a great present for my son-in-law who will start teaching this next semester. Your bag is very will constructed and should last for years. The price was very good, ordering was easy and it arrived as scheduled.

This bag was just right for a week long trip. Stowed nicely in the overhead on the aircraft and held all the necessities - snacks, change of clothes and reading materials. The side pockets were handy for smaller items. This will definitely be my go-to bag!
I have a 14inch laptop and it barely fits in the bag. The bag has some good organization qualities- could use a zipper pocket on cover. Great for water bottles though. I did order a light blue one but I got the tan sent instead for some reason. But overall, decent bag.
I used this bag for South American travel and will return it.
1. The strap is too thin and cuts into the shoulder when carrying loaded for extended periods. 2. No hand grab loop on top. Must always be carried over the shoulder. 3 End pockets are not secure. 4. Buckle looks very secure but only hides a push button release that come undone on bus floors and under plane seats. 5. bag will not snug down on a half full load.
This bag would fine and easy to use if your carry is not far and pick pockets were not a concern. I like the end pockets for organization just not security.
