I've enjoyed the carry-on luggage so much. I use it as I travel back and forth from grandbabies. I travel quite often and need something durible, light and easy to carry at the airport. Thanks so much.
This is a heavy duty bag, heavy canvas and fully lined, all pockets have velcro closures. It has one large compartment big enough for laptops and papers, with two side pockets, a zippered pocket under the flap, another pocket along the back, and a zippered pocket inside the main compartment.
The leather is nicely sewn. The shoulder strap is not removable but is adjustable. There is also a key fob inside. The closure on the flap is clever - it can unbuckle, or you can press the latch to release and leave the buckle adjusted to the amount of stuff inside.
Seems like it is going to be a hit for a man who has been dragging around another LL Bean piece of luggage as a bag for several years that I would like back so I can use it !
Due to my job, I fly every 3 weeks plus to visit friends and family. This bag fits perfectly under the airline seat and carries everything I could possibly need. The velcro tabs are wonderfully secure, definately will not come undone even if the book I put in it is a bit bigger than intended. I had hoped a purple color would come out. I would definately order another one.
