I have absolutely fallen in love with this bag. It is sooo perfect! I love the simplicity of it. I like how there are a few large pockets rather than a ton of tiny, useless ones. And it's so durable, and not to mention really attractive. I love, love, love it!
I've been shopping for a good travel bag that doesn't make me look like the tourist that I am. Nice layout of pockets with zippers and large enough to fit files and a laptop too, nice material and construction. Great find!
A nice bag for maybe overnight but I took this bag to Scotland as a carryon and it turned out to be really bulky and cumbersome. I was able to buy a smaller bag in Scotland and carried that one. The bag is very spacious and can become very heavy fast! The bag has a great look and is made well. Just not good for a very long trip.
I received this bag for Christmas (after asking for it specifically) and I LOVE it. This is a perfect general purpose shoulder bag.
This bag is really not meant for the way some negative reviewers have used it, so I can understand why they may have been disappointed. There is no padded strap if you're carrying books or a laptop. If that's what you need, I'd recommend looking at Bean's Book Pack options.
I use this bag to carry the usual stuff to work everyday, since I don't need to carry a laptop. That being said, I can usually squeeze my 15in laptop in here if I need to. I also use this bag to travel - it's a perfect carry-on.
This bag is somewhat masculine looking, so it's great for guys who want an option that isn't going to cost them an arm and a leg. I like the somewhat "weathered" look of it. My only real complaint with this bag is that the strap only adjusts a few inches, but that's small potatoes.
