I was given this messenger bag/shoulder bag a year ago by my sister. I didn't think I'd used it. It sat for 2 weeks. I finally gave it a try and don't go to my office every day without it. It holds everything I need: papers, laptop/notebook, checkbook, etc. And it gets better looking with age. I just purchased another one and sent it to my brother for his biirthday. He's already using. Highly recommend it. It is practical, masculine, and I don't know I got along without it.
I thought that the bag would be a bit larger, but I enjoy the convenience of the outside and inside pockets, and it has received some compliments from my friends.
This is the perfect everyday purse for a busy, casual, multitasking mum. I can keep a spare diaper in here and still fit in a pad of paper, a filofax, my wallet and my gym shoes if need be. I would have liked to have the key fob string in one of the end velcro pockets for easier access. I want one hand access to my keys when I get to my door on a rainy day. I also think that a couple of pen pockets would have been helpful. A loose pen in my bag came uncapped and I've spent hours trying to get the ink out.
I picked this bag over the Domke bags for taking my new Leica rangefinder out for travel. I have a Tenba Satchel bag but really did not like the industrial velcro to open it. Scared off animals to open it and gave away the surprise I was going to get out my camera.
So I picked up this moss colored bag and loved it. I took out the dividers from the Tenba camera satchel bag and put it into this LL Bean bag.
It's a perfect fit. The dividers secure my camera, give access to the inner compartment too.
Fully recommend this bag. Looks great and does not scream out "steal this camera bag"
