After literally years of looking for a great bag to lug all my stuff to and from jobs, markets, libraries, etc., I think I've found true love. 'Good weight, well made, classic look, and the interior allows for organization with a sensible amount of pockets. I think we'll be together for a long time.
This is a great bag & I was very pleased with it. I took it to the Outer Banks of NC & was able to carry wallet, cosmetics, book etc. & still had ample room in it. However, it is a little too large for using as a daily purse. I would recommend the smaller size for that. Also I found it helpful to add a piece of cardboard to the inside bottom to make it more stable. This is a great bag for travel.
I have been looking for a "Man Bag" for some time now. All of the messenger bags that I had looked at were too big or too synthetic. This bag is just the right size for me to haul stuff to and from the shop. The small pockets on the ends are great for my cell phone and car keys. I work at a bicycle shop, and I have seen all the bags out there, this one is just right.
I bought this bag for a trip to Spain. I had been searching for three months for something to carry around my camera equipment, sketch books etc. I really wanted the bag in brown but couldn't wait for the release date. I opted for the British Khaki instead, it's a much better color in person. The size is great, it's comfortable and the strap is sturdy. This is a great bag for school, work or travel. I was worried it would be too big, but it isn't and it isn't heavy. Also, I'm only 5' tall and the bag doesn't overwhelm my small frame. Hope this review was helpful.
