As a teacher, I always look for a new bag to start the year off. This one is great. With all the compartments, I can fit notebooks,lunchbox and even my laptop! My only wish would be that it would have had a handle on the top so that when I load it into my car I don't have to hold it by the strap, which is awkward.Other than that I love it and with hurricane season coming, I have already had it rained on and all is protected. Can't wait to use it on a trip.
The messenger bag is great. The bag is floppy, I wanted it a little firmer. The side pockets are larger than I thought, perfect for my keys. I wanted the bag to carry my laptop, but the laptop sleeve I use is too large, it fit in the bag, but I can't zip the bag closed and the outside pocket is really tight for my notebook cover, for meetings.
I received this bag for Christmas before my Sweetie and I spent the month of March in North Ireland. After a month of walking, riding the bus and train, it IS my favorite travel bag. It held everything we both needed and was easy to carry by either of us. Yes, my husband did not look on it as a purse! Now I am getting the matching shoulder bag. What could possibly be better?
Wow! This bag was roomier than I thought, and it's great! I love the adjustable shoulder strap and the extra side pockets within easy reach. Way to go, LL Bean!
