I purchased the bookbag for my son who will be going away to college in the fall. I bought this because of L.L. Bean's reputation of standing behind their products. I purchased my son a backpack 4 years ago and it is still in the same condition as when I bought it, and he used it everyday. I would reccommend anyone to buy these products, they may be a little pricey on the onset, but you actually save money not having to replace them every year.
This is a great bag .I can find thing in it a lot easier. Has many compartment for organization. It is made very well .I take it with me where ever I go.
I have only used this item one time, since purchasing it. I bought in April, but saved it until I traveled in December. Unfortunately, while on the plane my neighbor spilled his glass of wine on it. I have washed this bag only once. I know it says "sunwashed" but it is so faded it looks 10 yrs old; and I don't even want to use it. I am so disappointed. I have never had a problem with anything from L.L.Bean.
