I love the bag -- the canvas is soft, not cardboard-y, and the long strap means i can wear it over my shoulder or cross-ways. i use it for everyday but it will be grand for travelling (when and if). It would be helpful if the main part of the bag, had a divider. it's a large space and things tend to get lost, but that wouldn't stop me fro buying another one, or two.
Bag is very fucntional. Just the right amount of pockets/storage space; inside and out. The strap is just the right length and I'm 6'3". Very durable, supple and quite stylish. Glad I made the purchase.
We just returned from a trip over-sees. I bought this (in Cocoa Brown) and used it as my daily touring bag. This bag holds a ton of stuff - maps, water bottles, tissues, wallet etc, etc. Plus - the handy little side pockets are perfect for a small camera. I loved the various zippered compartments - perfect for holding items I wanted to keep secure. There is even a key clip inside one of the compartments. The color is great - it goes with everything - and the leather trim makes the bag look like it's worth a lot more than the $55 I paid for it. I like this bag so much - I'm going to use it as my every-day bag.
My only complaint - if you could call it a complaint - would be the strap. It tended to rub my shoulder a bit - but nothing that would prevent me from giving this bag two thumbs up.
I really like this bag except for the Velcro on the end pockets. You really need two hands to open this super-grippy fabric, which makes getting in the end pockets a chore. I plan to clip off the Velcro, at least one end, to make grabbing my keys or cell phone a one-hand operation.
