I purchased this bag to carry art supplies. It is large enough to carry, 8 1/2 X 11 paper as well as paints, brushes and just about anything else one might need. It is also and probably most importantly easy to carry when loaded with supplies.
Coul be more functional with more compartments on the inside and needs the LL Bean logo on the outside somewhere like my previous one. Then people will not ask me where did you get that bag.
I purchased this bag about 2 years ago as a cascual briefcase for work. My boyfriend started night classes and thus somehow inherited the bag! I purchased another one for myself, along with 4 more for some coworkers. Everyone loves the bag! Great quality and price. You won't find a bag like this anywhere else.
The bag was very nice looking and had lots of space to stroe things. The problem was that the shoulder strap was way too short and I am a 5'3" female so be careful.
