if I buy my regular size. That should be enough, but it sheds some water, too, and stains to boot. This is my second one. The first still fits after a few months of washing about once a week.
It didn't hurt that I had a 20% off coupon when I ordered two of these shirts. I would have done it anyway. I had a couple older ones but it was time to get different colors. These are just as well-made and very comfortable. (By the way, the label says wash in cold water but I had no discernable shrinkage when I used my usual warm setting.)
I have been purchasing LL Bean's long sleeve T-shirts for a good number of years now. I wish I could wear them 24/7. I would highly reccomend these shirts any body and every body. In fact, I am getting ready to purchase some of their short sleeve T's here later on this month.
My husband bought this with a gift card I got him. He has commented several times how impressed he is with the quality and softness of the fabric, the quality of the stitching, and how he loves the color! He has washed it several times and it has not shrunk or faded. He will be buying more of these!
