Unshrinkable - Not Really!
PostedApril 13, 2015
Have about 10 of these shirts. They fit perfectly when I first received them. The fit and look were perfect. They were washed as instructed in cold water. Then I noticed that the sleeve length began to shrink. Sleeve length has shrunk 1"-2" after a half dozen washes. The shrink is inconsistent but everyone one has shrunk. The "unshrinkable" claim does not hold up in actual use. This applies to black, red and yellow colors. I will attempt to return these and will buy the Tall version to compensate for the inevitable shrinking.

Inconsistent Fit/Red too Bright
PostedFebruary 21, 2015
I got two of these shirts, one black and one "warm red." Although the construction quality seems high, and the material is very soft, smooth and comfortable, the "L. Reg" red shirt is enormous, hanging down past my crotch (and I'm just taller than 6'), while the same-sized black shirt is much smaller and shorter and snug around my not-very-fat belly. The necks on both shirts, also, have too much elastic and rest against the front of my neck, just under my Adam's apple, giving me a choking sensation, which is uncomfortable so I keep pulling it down and trying to stretch and fight with it. The "warm red," also, is actually very bright red, like florescent red. I'm really disappointed in both shirts, as I love long sleeve Ts, thought I'd found a winner, and these weren't even particularly cheap, either.
I used to shop at LL Bean much more often, but had started going to brick-and-mortar stores to try clothes on first. But then I saw a great flash-sale discount offer shared on social media and thought I'd try again. I also bought two sweaters and will review them later.

Love these shirts!
PostedFebruary 19, 2015
I got the blue, light blue, and black ones last winter, and they are still my favorite shirts! They are soft but tough, and definitely durable. I wore them working in an indoor lumber yard all winter and spring, and there was never any tears, snags, or problems!
However, just so you know, drywall does stain them...
I have been wearing them all of this winter as well. I am extremely sensitive to my clothing, and need to have the softest clothes with no tags or uncomfortable seams. And these fit the bill! Like others have said, they are a bit boxy, but that's part of the reason I like them so much. They are great shirts. Expensive, but worth the money for me. I try to stock up when they go on sale!
