I realize that fit is subjective, but for my body (5'11", 165 lbs) the medium long-sleeve t-shirt fits perfectly. It is ideal for cooler nights in Florida, or as a layer when we visit cooler climes.
My favorite thing about these shirts--and it also applies to their short-sleeve t-shirts--is how soft they are after only a couple washes. They are by far one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I own!
They also seem to be very durable. After repeated washings there are no holes, ripped seams, or fading.
My only criticism is that they're a bit pricey, but like most LL Bean items, this shirt will outlive me, so there is a price for quality.
My husband has some of these shirts that are 2 yrs old. They still look great. The necks do not stretch out. I usually get him a 2xl. He can wear these in a XL. The length does not shrink up.
Basic tee shirt to wear for garden work. Fabric is thinner than shirts I purchased before, so these will be the last I buy from LLBean. I can get the same thin shirts at local stores. My old ones held on for several seasons; this one may not make more than one. Recommend with reservations.
I bought several of the carefree unshrinkable tee, long sleeve for my husband to transition from the warm weather to cooler weather in FL and they are perfect! soft, comfortable and wash nicely. I plan to order more colors!
