I am new to LL Bean this past year. My father has ordered a few things in the past. I love the outdoors and love to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors. This is a great layer underneath a flannel button up or by itself with a jacket. Thank you for a great product!
Three star review is because the GREEN "color" shirt shown on the website is a much different color from the one that I received. I have ordered several items from LL Bean, most of which have been fairly true to color. However, the green color that I received in this long sleeve T has much more yellow in it - like a leaf green versus a cooler shade like sage green, which is more like the photo. LL Bean calls it DARK ELM, however, there is nothing "dark" about it.
I really like LL Bean clothing, but it is annoying to receive something that is so different in color and have to go through the hassle of returning it. No problem with the quality and comfort - first rate!
These are nice T-Shirts but the sleeves do shrink. I have always washed them in cold water and dried them on delicate. Inspite of this the sleeves have become shorter than they were when I received them back in the fall.
I wanted to wear this as both an undershirt with a sweater and on its own... it does not really work for the former as the cut is very large and boxy (I wear a 42 suit and ordered medium)...
the material is thick and feel likes durable good quality cotton...
