I bought two of these for my husband, and I have been impressed with the way they've held up over time. He wears them often because they're comfortable.
They wash as well as anything I've ever purhcased. The colors hold up. Also, the shirt is truly "carefree", and this applies whether I use the dryer or hang it to dry. It doesn't shrink either. This is LL Bean quality!
Love the shirt. It's exactly the way a long sleeved t-shirt should be. I have about 10 of them, and I wear them all the time from fall through spring, either by themselves or under another shirt. They definitely fit well, wash well, and retain their shape and color through the years. The only real negative is that the price has been raised two or three times in the past 5 or 6 years, so I don't feel that the value is exceptional anymore. Still worth the money though.
The only thing I dislike about this shirt is that it seems to ride high on the front of my neck. I find myself pulling it down form time to time as it gets annoying. Otherwise, the shirt fits well and is made well.
I found the fit perfect, I like my t-shirts a little large on me, I ordered the xxl, so I am able to wear t-shirt under it and a sweatshirt over the top.
