The purpose of this purchase was to replace 5 older long sleeved tees I've had for several years. The new ones are just a nice quality material & the color selections were numerous.
Once again LL Bean comes through with great quality and reasonable pricing. Bought 5 of these in different colors for my husband who works in a manufacturing management position and has to make frequent trips down to the manufacturing floor. Because the manufacturing process uses a fiberglass-like material, he wears long sleeves to protect his arms. We looked everywhere to find a long-sleeved shirt that would be light weight enough for our hot Texas summers but that would be durable enough to hold up to heavy wear and lots of washing. We didn't have any luck finding something in the store and remembered ordering similar short-sleeved t-shirts last summer so we decided to try these. These shirts filled the bill on all accounts. Also, as a bonus, the colors appear to be pretty much color-fast after they've been washed at least once, and don't bleed on lighter colored clothes. L.L. Bean has always come through for us.
