I have been buying this shirt for 4 years for my husband and comes out of the dryer as new as the day it was bought. The fabric feel is soft as butter. I do wish for browns and green genre patterns to be added soon, please?
These wrinkle free shirts deliver everything Bean says they do. However along with all the good comes the fact that the chemical treatment to the cotton which makes them not wrinkle also does not allow them to breathe like untreated cotton and the shirt is much hotter than you might expect---especially in hot humid weather. I travelled with them to both India and China and they can be like wearing an oven. But they do stay crisp and wrinkle free.
This is my first order from L.L.Bean - I'm always skeptical about "wrinkle-free" or "resistant" but this was a very pleasant surprise. Out of the dryer to a hanger then on my husband. Looked great! He asked me to order more because it was so comfortable - and that comment about a shirt was also a first!
