THE COAT IS WARM HOWEVER THE DUAL ZIPPER IS A PROBLEM. YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH THE ZIPPER FOR IT TO CLOSE. VERY FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU ARE WALKING OUT THE HOUSE AND DOWN THE STREET AND YOU ARE STILL STRUGGLING TO CLOSE THE JACKET, MEANWHILE YOUR FREEZING!!!

Almost Perfect

Great parka. Well made, very warm and of course waterproof. Zipper issue noted in other reviews is overcome with a little practice. Lots of pockets, but..... the hand warmer pockets are wacky. They placed the unzippered hand warmer pockets below all the other pockets. On a parka??? Not at a reasonable place especially for someone with short arms. On top of this the pockets are set in an almost horizontal angle. If you put your hands in them at a normal angle, half of your hands stick out. You better not put anything in these pockets because it will more than likely fall out. These pockets are uncomfortable to use and not very functional.

This item was purchased for the purpose of climbing mount Kilimanjaro. It was the right purchase to make! The three in one system was perfect for the wet warmer climate at the bottom of the mountain and the frigid tundra-like climate at the top of the mountain.
I believe the that the zipper could be better, however this jacket is excellent in every other respect and has replaced my winter parka as my primary winter jacket in Canada.
Two thumbs up!
