This jacket is amazing. It is extremely lightweight yet provides the warmth and protection you want. The three quarter length falls at my knees (I'm 5'7") & is a perfect length.
The best, warmest coats I've owned have been from LLBean, and this is no exception. I needed something for cold, foul weather that I could wear to work in NYC and this is absolutely perfect. It looks great, it's warm, and it keeps the elements out and off. Congratulations to LLBean for another job well done.
I purchased this coat last month & am in love with it. It is very warm & fits nicely. My clothing size is 12, but I had to purchase a large. I had tried the medium & there was no room for a sweater underneath. I really love the soft stretchable "cuff" that is inside the sleeve. It definitely keeps any cold air out. I bought white & it looks great for work or play. I also like having both a zipper and snaps on the front so you can use either or both. I highly recommend this great winter coat!
I just exchanged a different coat for this one through LLBean and I couldn't be happier. It fits great and keeps me very warm. What's more color is beautiful (paper white). The sleeves are a *teeny* bit too short but I swam in the next size up (XS can mean thin, not just short!). Overall I'm very satisfied and appreciated that they were willing to let me make the exchange. Thank you LLBean!
