I really like this coat-the length (above the knee), the warmth factor and especially the cuffs inside the sleeve to help keep out the cold wind. I ordered it in black and it looks very nice, esp. with the "fur" around the hood. I had ordered a differnt parka but returned it and ordered this one-I am glad I did!
Two out of three of the coats I ordered were gigantic in the XS petite, and I am normally a 4. Also, they were shapeless. Very disappointing and dowdy. Also, the fake fur is very cheap looking. I don't know who LL Bean uses as a fit model, and I have trouble believing that these will fit anyone particularly well.
I gotta say, I love this coat. At first, I wanted it to be more fitted, but now I appreciate the fact that I can layer under it and that if I gain 5 pounds I don't feel like a stuffed sausage. The coat is very light, not puffy, very warm and the material is very soft. I love the fleece pockets, fleece wrist cuffs and the fake fur trim. When I wear this coat I don't want to take it off, it's like being wrapped in a cozy down blanket. I have fallen asleep with it on before in fact, because I was too comfortable to remove it. I love it, I think we are going to have a happy long term relationship for years to come. :)
