I haven't worn this outdoors yet but it is a nice length, and size is true for me. Fabric is nice and brown color is nice. If it is at all like my previous coat which I have had for 20 yrs...that would be great
This coat is the best coat I have ever owned...and tons of compliments. The inner cuff is soft and not noticeable, the fabric is first rate and soft. It is warm but you do not feel like you are roasting even in mild weather. It is light ,,dare I say...as a feather.
The petite version fits perfectly..sleeves are not hanging past my hand.
Some one had said the hood covers too much of their face...if she had looked she would have seen the tab on the back of the hood that you can adjust for proper length. All in all it is PERFECT!
This is hands-down the BEST winter coat I have ever had! I got it last year (winter 2011) and it is still just like new! The best part is that it is completely machine washable (minus the fur) and comes out perfect every time. The fit is perfect and has more than enough room for layering. I really like how it doesn't get too warm if you wear it in slightly cooler weather, but it keeps you SUPER cozy in frigid temperatures. I live in the mid-atlanic and the winter weather here is crazy so I'm very thankful to LLbean for this fantastic coat! It keeps out freezing wind and repels soaking snow and rain. Also, a note on the fit. I am 5'4 and have a busty chest area, with a slim figure. I got a size small and it is absolutely perfect, very true to size.
