I have wanted a "poofy" coat for years, but living in FL wasn't practical. Now living in Pittsburgh..picked up at store at Ross Park Mall...and love it. Warm, light and comfy...
After suffering last winter with only a fashionable peacoat (miserable!), this year I absolutely refused to be cold. This coat did the trick and then some! Not only is it astoundingly warm, but it is cozy and comfortable... it's even cute! I didn't think so at first because it really swallows your figure, but I have gotten quite a few compliments on it. Don't expect to have a waist, but DO expect to be toasty warm all winter long.
Had been wanting a little longer coat to cover more of my legs when I'm out walking the dog. This coat keeps my legs warm down to my knees and also covers my rear end when I sit down on the cold car seat first thing in the morning. I love the cuffs inside the sleeve that keep the cold air from blowing in. I also like that the fur trim is easily removable. I have been warm in the coat both with and without an extra layer. I wish the pockets were just a little bit deeper so that I wouldn't have to worry about my key falling out. Maybe it wouldn't but I always zip the pocket just to be sure. I've seen some feathers poking out but not a lot. I also asked for and received the down-filled gloves. The gloves and the coat make a nice warm pair.
