ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This coat is great. Mom, age 84, and I both purchased coats in a size medium. We usually wear size small and the coat runs true to size. We purchased the size medium so we could put extra layers under for really cold days. We love the light weight of the coat and the length is just right for driving and talking long walks. The hood is perfect for blocking the wind. It is now our favorite and so much cuter than the usual work coats!
I am disappointed in the warmth of this coat. I was so looking forward to receiving my new coat and being toasty warm again on my walk to work.
I did have to exchange the size because the medium was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I am a 4'11 but not super skinny so I thought I would want it roomy but the medium was huge so I would suggest ordering a smaller size than you normally would. I do really like the dark raspberry color. I am very visible when the crossing the street in the city.
I have been wearing my coat for about a month now and have experienced different weather tempatures and I do not feel that the coat is very warm. I just walked my ten minutes home from work and my thighs were frozen as it is cold in Chicago right now.
I am very disappointed. My last coat, which I purchased from another retail store was half the price and much, much warmer. I would be sweating after my ten minute walk home from work.
I also think the buttons holding the sides of the hood are not practical. Mine are about ready to fall off. There is still the zipper in the back so the hood will not fall off.
I really wanted to love my coat but I am sorry that I can not. It is not as warm as it says it should be. I can not reccomend this coat to anyone.
