This is the best coat i have ever owned. I ordered it on line as the reviews were high and decided i would purchase it. WHen it arrived and i pulled it out of the box it felt very light weight so i was concerned that it would not be warm. I went out on a windy, 8 degree day and i did not feel cold air through this coat. The Hood is nice and it has velcro inback to adjust it. I liked the fur that surrounds your face so it breaks the wind. The hood is also removable.It is also great when you are driving your car. It does not restrict your legs. You can wash this coat in your washer. I choose the white because sometimes i like walking in the evening and it shows up nice. It is true to size. I JUST LOVE IT!!! It is one of the best purchases i made at LLBean.

I originally bought the long ultrawarm coat for myself and was so in love with it, that I bought this one for my mom as she doesn't like her coats too long. She loves it, she looks fabulous, and she is nice and warm. The coat is also very light so it doesn't weigh her down, So warm in fact, that she is quite comfortable wearing a t-shirt in freezing weather with this coat. She said that the adjustable collar and hood eliminates the need for a scarf and hat. I get cold quickly so I always have a hat and scarf. But this is an excellent product as I have found with all LLBEAN items! The sizing is accurate too. Love the inner pockets in this coat as well.
As a woman w/ curves, the XL fits me perfectly. Great length for getting in and out of the car. Love the little extra room for layers, the 2-way zipper, perfect sleeve length and it's so toasty warm! The white is so nice for a change. Black may be more practical, but frankly this really gives my spirits a lift. I add a pretty colorful scarf around my neck to protect the coat from lipstick and I'm good to go. For those of you who didn't like the "fur", toss it in the dryer for a couple of minutes w/ a barely damp facecloth. I'm very happy w/ my purchase.

I am able to stay toasty warm in the bitter air this winter. I loved it so much I bought one for a family member. I would highly recommend this coat to anyone! I have received many compliments on the colors that I picked out as well.
