I just got this jacket today and was really looking forward to having a down jacket to take to Europe when I go in the winter.
I am a petite 5'6" and the medium fits properly. The jacket is also made well.
The cons: no style to the jacket - it makes me look dumpy, how do you look dumpy when you are as slim as I am?
I ordered a paper white as the other colors were sold out in my size. Unfortunately I can see the dark colored down through the fabric, making it look as if it has dirty spots on it.

Originally ordered the shorter version in chocolat brown but decided to get it in knee length. Only color left was the periwinkle. So I gave it a try. Most of my wardrobe is black or brown but I do like to have colorful coats in winter. This is beautiful!! I have gotten so many compliments on the color too. Thank you LL Bean
This item was not to be in stock until almost Christmas so I bought a similar (I thought) coat from another store. It was also less expensive - but not worth it. I returned that coat and reordered this one. It is great, my wife really loves it. We live in Upstate New York, she is a Home Health nurse so is out in the weather frequently. It is very comfortable to drive with, not bulky but is warm.
Loved the coat-nice fabric, great color ( I ordered the brown) but unfortunately I ordered a regular size thinking I had ordered a petite. Too big. Looks like the coat does not come in brown in petite. The only thing I did not like was the "fur" trim. Looks like the tail from a really sick cat. Honestly, guys, just leave the fur off. Which I would have done-no big deal since the clever design lets you take it off.
