Was very excited to receive this after reading so many great reviews...and very disappointed that it looked like I was wearing a sleeping bag. No shape whatsoever. Made me look like a baglady...so it will be returned. I like to be warm but I have my dignity.

After trying a longer version, I found this coat to be just right for warmth, yet ease in sitting. The zipper seems to be durable, and it was very warm this morning at 3 degrees. I'm also very happy with the ease of LL Bean's return policy.
Love that the sleeves are long enough for my long arms! This coat is comfortable, very warm, and has nice details such as the velcro hood tag, the interior sleeve cuffs, pocket linings, and snap closures in addition to the zipper.

the cold just hit New England and i pulled out my new purchase for the first time. This coat is amazingly warm! the above the knee length is perfect and i don't feel boxy or snowman-like in it. the warmth is incredible and i had to turn DOWN the heat in the car, i was so warm. Highly recommend for really cold climates.
