I'm 4'9" finding this coat is a miracle. I weigh about 120 lbs. It fits perfectly! I chose large petite and there's plenty of room for an extra sweater, the length just comes below the knee!!! The sleeve can be folded back an inch or so. That's amazing. LLBean measurements were right on! Love the way the hood can be tacked back away from the face. I can't say enough, I'm thrilled.
The coat would have been okay for me except for the hood. The hood extended past my face a good 5-6 inches which completely blocked my peripheral vision. If I look for a hooded coat again, I would have to make sure the hood could be secured so it didn't pass the side of my face so completely.

This is the best winter coat that I have ever purchased. Its very warm, you dont have to wear any extra clothing under it because it keeps you very nice and warm. If you are looking for a good quality coat that will keep you warm this is the coat for you. I will be coming back to shop at LLBean, they stand behind their products without any problem. This was my very first purchase with LLBean and wont be my last :-)
