ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I LOVE this coat. I ordered it in chocolate brown and I am extremely pleased with the color. The jacket runs a little big, so I did need to return it for a smaller size. It is not easy to find a great fitting jacket in petites (I'm 5 feet) and this is IT!
The sleeves were short--falling nearly 2 inches above my wrist with arms resting by my side. The shoulder seams were too short for a coat. The inner part of the sleeve opening was made from a thin fleece, whereas most similar coats use a thick rib knit that is better suited to keeping snow/cold air from traveling up the sleeve. The fur ruff was sewn as a flat strip, so it jutted out awkwardly from the hood. The cut of the body of the coat was boxy and made an unflattering A-line shape. A waist drawstring in the lining would be an improvement. The down filling should have been denser. The exterior fabric and the lining were stiff/crinkly and had a sheen. It was not worth the price and I returned it.
Living in Oklahoma we can have extreme temp changes from one day to the next. On a recent drastic dip in the temperature I got out early to walk the dog wearing my new coat. Now I know I will NEVER be cold wearing this coat! It is so light and comfortable. I would recommend this coat to anyone.
