I really wanted to like this coat - it has lovely features and is beautifully made. When i put it on, the sleeves did not come all the way to my wrists and if i extended my arms, they went halfway up my forearms. I would have tried a larger size, but the body was large and does not have an interior drawcord to adjust for fullness. I had ordered a small, because I am small, but the sleeves were too short and the body too large. I couldn't win. I own several LL Bean coats and this is the first one I've had to return.
I bought this coat on-line last winter and absolute love everything about it. I live on the water and there is lots of wind and the winter is damp and cold. This is the first coat that keeps me warm even on the blistery days. The fleece cuffs and pockets are so cozy and the jacket is very light. I normally take a size 12 but went with a large and it is a little big but fits nice. My neighbor purchased the same coat after trying mine on. It was worth every penny I paid in custom fees.

This is a great coat. Runs a bit big. The problem is the hood is too deep and the fur sticks way out over your head and down into your eyes. I am sending back sadly.
Also the fur is very matted and creased and looks like a wet shaggy dog. It is not fluffy and pretty like a faux fur hood should be. Disappointed.
