Arrived quickly after ordering. I ordered the XS, and it was a little tight thru elbows & shoulders, so sent back & the small is PERFECT fit. The color is cheerful for the winter doldrums. It is so warm, & not bulky when driving I am 4"11" so the length hits me at my knees, & that is just what I wanted. My husband has his LL Bean coat 27 years and it still looks like new. I hope to enjoy my coat just as long.
ProsPerforming as Expected, the hood really does, protect your face from, blowing snow
I have never gotten so many compliments on a coat as I have with this one. I bought this coat specifically for snow blowing activities. But it has become my go to coat for all occasions. My only negative relates to the velcro closure for the hood. The hooks tend to grab my scarfs etc. I have added a velcro fuzzy patch to thwart that problem.

The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars was because of its color. I needed a warm, lightweight coat so had to take one that provided everything I needed even though the color was not my first choice, but the coat is perfect in every other way. For the first time this winter I do not hate going out in the cold. Ahhhh! Thank you L. L. Bean for keeping me warm -- and I LOVE the cell phone pocket, a real plus!

Love feel of coat & way it fits. Waited a long time to get, meaning alot of thought went into it. The wait was well worth it. Hope to get many happy years of wear!
