ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I wear jackets as my outfit a lot and this coat was roomy enough to accommodate and non-bulky to be convenient at theaters and restaurants. Really nice to be warm although here in Colorado the weather was mild in the city this year.
I would have liked a couple of inside pockets. Loved the snaps since with my style of dress it keeps the coat closed enough. I had no trouble with the zipper when needed. The hood was OK for a little extra warmth ESP without squashing my hair
This review pertains to the version of the same coat I bought December 2009. This coat is warm. And once it gets snowy, I wear it every day. It's kept me warm standing outside for over an hour in single-degree temps holding a ladder while my husband cleared snow off our roof. Two cons: limited pockets are kinda small, and zipper can be tricky which is frustrating.
Love this coat. Wanted the full length but the three quarter is fine. Very comfy, feels like I'm wearing a comforter. Lightweight. Very warm...you don't need the heat so high in the car! Fit is very good. Ample movement over a sweater but still looks trim. (I'm at the higher end of 10-12). LOVE the hood. Zippped up the collar, put on the hood and wind chill of -8 was no problem. Outside pockets ample for one glove in each. One inside pocket. and an inside cell phone pocket! The coat is very well made and seems it will last a long, long, time. This is a great value!
The coat performs well in cold weather. But not to the below zero classifications designated. Sorry, but previous coats purchased from you have out performed in the colder limits that are below zero. The coat is a good coat to buy, its ability to break the wind and keep you warm while walking are good in the low double digit temperatures above zero. The main draw back is amount of transference of cold from a car seat or any cold object that you may lean against.
