Stylish, comfy and super warm. My go-to coat on freezing and windy winter days. Love the zipper AND snaps, plus fold-over front flap so no cold air gets in. And pockets are lined with fleece. Got the brown -- I highly recommend it!
I bought this coat because I was going to NY, NY for Christmas weekend and I knew it was going to be freezing on those tour buses and walking around Liberty Island and all that. The coat was very warm. I am a size 12 and the M fit me just right. The length was great because it covered my tush and kept the wind and snow off me all the way to my knees. The wrist bands kept the snow and wind from going up my arms too. I also love that it zips and snaps. Down sides: The two way zipper does not have a locking mechanism so when you sit it is not uncommon for it to start unzipping from the bottom up. The fur around the hood is necessary if you want to keep the wind and snow from beating in your face, however, it is heavy and drags the hood down into your face and the long fur gets in your eyes and nose and mouth. That was very annoying and I took it off which left my face cold and red from the wind. Other than those two things, this coat is worth every penny imo. I was never cold where I was covered by the coat. But I'd like to see LLBean correct those two things.

It keeps you so warm when the temperature is in the teens. The hood is terrific. The fur reallys keeps your face warm and protects it from the wind . Only wish they would restock this item so I could buy my Mom one. Should of bought one years ago.
