The coat was warm, comfortable and very well made. Exactly what I wanted for walking outdoors with my grandchildren in the winter, except that the extra small was too big. I'm 4' 11" and 100 lbs. I'm hoping that llbean will consider coming out with an extra extra small.
I liked the coat very much, but had to return it for a smaller size. It ran much larger than I expected. I'm now waiting for the exchange coat for which I picked a different color. It's on back order which is Okay because of current mild temperatures.
LOVE this coat-looking forward to a winter being warm outside. Only complaint (small problem) is size of hood-blocks peripheral vision because it is so big. Will work with it to correct this.
This is a lovely coat. I ordered the black. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to wear it due to the unseasonably warm weather in the Northeast part of this country. I removed the hood, not because it was unsightly or anything but because short of a blizzard I wouldn't need it. I do have to say though that once the hood is adjusted (including the fur which I found to be ok, unlike some of the reviews), the hood fit my small head just fine. That is why there is a Velcro adjustment at the back of it. I ordered the medium petite 3/4 coat and it fits perfectly. It does run a bit large so good idea to order down at least one size. I'm looking forward to the cold weather so I can try it out.
