I have been searching for the perfect winter coat to keep me warm during difficult South Dakota winters. I wanted a stylish, WARM, washable coat. I found it in the Ultra Warm 3/4 Length Coat. If you've never been to SD during wintertime, then you cannot understand the frigid temperatures combined with wind. This coat keeps me warm but not hot. When it gets dirty (I bought white) I can throw it in the wash, and the best part is I don't look like an abominable snowman in it. I have received many compliments and I send my friends to L.L. Bean!

I love this coat. It is extremely lightweight but amazingly warm. It is very easy to put on by either zippering it or using the snaps. The hood is the perfect size and can be closed tightly at the neck with the velcro on those snowy, windy days. It can also be totally removed by just zippering it off. I ordered the paperwhite color and it is beautiful. I like the fact that this coat is machine washable and dry-able too. Don't hesitate to buy this wonderful coat. You won't be sorry.

I recently took a trip to Vermont and this coat kept me warm every minute. I never even felt a chill through the layers. The only drawback was the Velcro at the neck. When I didn't need to fasten it, it got hung up on other clothing items.
