I tried this coat on in the store, and it's fit was much more flattering than I expected. However I ended up ordering the coat online, and for no reason I can figure out, the coat that came in the mail, although presumably identical to the ones in the store, was not as flattering. I haven't yet decided if I'll do anything about it, but that's the main thing I noticed. Other than that, it seems great. Warm, comfy, and I actually like the fake fur trim...

Just received this coat which is just as described, only better. It is exactly the knee length I was looking for in a down coat - the length that is almost impossible to find. Very sturdy no nonsense zipper. Chocolate brown color is matte, not shiny. The faux fur is soft and coordinates well with the brown. The fit is generous - could have gone down a size but wanted it roomy. The down is lofty and kept me really warm today at a windy 21 degrees with just a sweater, so I could take a walk comfortably. Completely satisfied. Definitely recommend without reservation.
I'm in SE Michigan, where it can get pretty nippy but not arctic. This coat's rating made me think it might be overkill for our winters, but boy, was I wrong. Even wearing long underwear and several layers underneath the coat, including a thick wool sweater, I can feel the wind go right through it on a 25-degree day like today. It's nowhere near as warm as an ugly but thick wool coat I wore last winter. I like the appearance, so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, but I'm going to see if it's still returnable. Very disappointed.

this is an amazing coat - very warm but very light in weight. I don't use hoods because they never fit correctly, but this one is designed to be nice and tight under my chin with a soft closure I just love this coat !!
