I'm a huge fan of LLBean and buy their coats for the whole family, but I had to return this one. I ordered the dark raspberry, but the color resembles magenta. I found the sleeves shorter than my other Bean mediums, and the zipper was stubborn.
I have not yet had a chance to wear it -I just bought it and it hasn't been cold enough yet, so I can't yet vouch for it's warmth. It is very light in weight, the periwinkle color is exactly as it appeared online and I like it. It feels like it would be a warm coat- I certainly hope so as I do not enjoy cold weather. I was debating between this and another coat on LLBean, and hope I made a good choice.
I have not wore this parka in the coldest of days as we have not been there yet but I am very pleased with the quality/price as I have been shopping dept. stores, other mail order venues. Others were very pricey and questionable quality. I did return for a smaller size as I was unsure even thou other buyers did recommend this as well. I fell "urban chic" when I put it on rather than "puffy frumpy". Am very pleased.
